   Binary (logical) arrays are not supported by many of the FlexFile
   array functions.  For example, you cannot A_SCAN() an array for a
   logical (.t.) or (.f.) and you cannot A_SORT().  The FlexFile
   array functions which operate on binary arrays are:

                A_STORE()
                A_RETRIEVE()
                A_LEN()
                A_TYPE()
